Beautiful pics of Tamara Day and Sarah Stiles feet & legs
My baby crawled around in a playpen while I worked 12-hour days cleaning the floors, and taking down the wallpaper. Ha! All was beginning to fall into place, but it was not quite done. To furnish the home, it was going to be an enormous undertaking with regards to both time and funds. Also, I had to go out and shop for my most-loved items. For my budget to remain in good shape, I went out with my 3 boys looking for bargains at estate sales. Every week, we would go through estate sales and garage sales on Fridays and Saturdays buying a mixture of new and old pieces. I then spent working on my projects outside in our driveway. It was kind of similar to the following... This is where my love for restoring antique furniture started. I continued to restore furniture even after we had completed the renovation of our home. There was an area in the market that I could sell my items. In the end, I was stuffed with too many pieces to store in the space available. My home became a place in which I held open houses. Up 1000 people would be able to view items from my first floor and purchase these items. Growing Days was created in the home. In addition to my thriving business, I also grew our family. It was like I had found the perfect equilibrium between motherhood and launching my business. Growing Days was the obvious option. In 2013, my daughter Nora became our fourth child. The direction my company was heading was fantastic, but I had to rest for a while. I decided to take a break from creating furniture for vintage homes, and also slowed my pace to be at home to take care of the kids. It was exactly what I needed at that moment. However, after just a couple of minutes I began to hear my phone getting busy. I was getting calls from people needing help with their interior decorating and home remodeling. These people had mostly been to my home during open houses that were held for furniture. I began taking on clients at a time working at my own pace but it wasn't too time before I was running multiple accounts and was running an entire home improvement business. You would probably have laughed at me had you had said that this would become the basis of a DIY Network tv series. Actually, I smile slightly when I recall the episode.
